The medical system is designed to keep patients paying, even when nothing changes in their treatment. Take Ventolin, for example - an asthma medication, that a patient might have been using for 30 years without any adjustments. Yet, every three to six months, they are forced to pay €20 just to have their doctor reissue the same prescription, even though the pharmacy could easily dispense it without this unnecessary step. It’s a money-making cycle that prioritizes bureaucracy and profit over patient care, charging people for the privilege of accessing the medication they depend on. To make things even worse, the system is completely uneven. If you're a public patient with a medical card or an asylum seeker, doctor visits and prescriptions are free. While that might seem fair on the surface, it actually clogs up the system even more, as people who don’t necessarily need to see a doctor take up appointments, making it harder for those who genuinely need care to be seen. Meanwhile, paying patients are stuck shelling out money for routine prescriptions, like Ventolin, that haven’t changed in decades. The whole setup feels less about patient care and more about making sure the system keeps profiting off the people.

I simply want to live an expressive, connected, and fulfilling life.
Like many of us, I’ve felt the quiet drift away from something deeper… a disconnection from nature, from ourselves, and from the sense of belonging that comes from true community. But I don’t see that as something lost forever. I see it as something waiting to be remembered. This space is where I share reflections, insights, and lived experiences around relationships, health, and wellbeing… not as fixed truths, but as invitations. Invitations to reconnect with what feels real, to listen more closely to ourselves, and to rediscover the rhythms that support both personal and collective health. I believe that when we begin to express ourselves more honestly and live more in tune with our inner world, something powerful happens. Our relationships deepen, our wellbeing shifts, and our connection to the wider ecosystem begins to restore itself in a natural, grounded way. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about returning… gently, curiously, and together. Archives
